Having spent my teenage years growing up as neighbours with Harry it was an honour for him to ask me back in August last year to document his Silchester House wedding. I can’t explain how much fun Sophie and Harry’s wedding was especially in the evening when the party started! The weather forecast wasn’t looking very good but luckily for us the rain held off during the important parts of the day. I met up with them back in July for their engagement shoot which gave me a great opportunity to meet Sophie for the first time and have a wander around the lovely Emsworth.

My day started at Sophies parents in Finchampstead, Berkshire where I met the lovely bridesmaids and some of Sophies family. The ceremony was held at St James’ Church just a short five-minute drive. The service was very touching in parts for me. It made me think back to when and I Harry used to hang out together playing football in the street. Then it was onwards to Silchester House for the reception and evening celebrations.

This beautiful Silchester House wedding provided the perfected backdrop for some stunning photos just before the rain arrived. I was fortunate enough to have a seat for dinner which was a delicious three-course meal. After the speeches were the evening celebrations and a brilliant sparkler exit! Sophie and Harry you were both a joy to photograph and a real pleasure to work with. No drama. No stress. Thank you so much for having me. I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I did making them. You can see a few of my favorites from the wonderful day below.
