We were amazed that James managed to get the photos he did in our tiny church. We didn’t notice him moving around and there are a couple of photos that our guests said “Wow, how did he get that picture? I didn’t even see him”. That summarises what we love so much about our photos, they are un-posed and absolutely capture the moment. Receiving our photos was so easy. James sent us some preview photos and a slideshow that we could show to our friends and family whilst we waited for our full album. We received our photos a lot quicker than we expected, and they are INCREDIBLE.

When Katy and Stuart first got in touch with me about their Deans Court wedding in Wimborne, I was so excited – they were planning a really fun and laid back wedding with a religious ceremony, a homemade bar and even a string quartet. We had previously met up for an engagement shoot and I couldn’t wait to shoot their wedding!

The excitement before the wedding

I rocked up at Deans court, where the bride and her friends were getting ready together, and it was so chilled out because all the girls and family were there. Katy wore a Special Occasions Bridal Gown.

The serious part

The wedding took place at St Stephen’s Church and was a beautiful ceremony. They had a bagpipe player on arrival and a string quartet playing in the church, which was so unique. After the ceremony there was a big cheer from everyone, and then the celebrations began.

The reception

The wedding reception took place Deans Court, which they’d decorated with a stunning flower wall and loads of gorgeous details. It was also the date of the Royal Wedding plus being a bright and sunny day, it was what the couple had hoped for. While the guests enjoyed an amazing caravan free bar, the couple mingled while I took candids. My favorite photo from the afternoon has to be one of the speech photos. I loved the wedding game which provided me with plenty of photo opportunities!

For the wedding breakfast, they had a slap up meal, supplied by the wonderful Molecular Magic Creative Catering! After the meal they had some very funny speeches, then the party got started and the band kicked off the party. They also had a DJ, which everyone loved. Katy and Stuart are the loveliest people I had the best time with them!
