James was absolutely amazing on our wedding day. I decided to book James from seeing one of his photographs at a wedding fair at our venue. I knew I’d made the right decision as soon as he arrived on the day! James is so lovely, so polite and gets along with everyone!

I have seen so many wonderful reviews of James and how amazing he is. I would second every single one of them. The happiness I felt when our previews came through from just a few days after the wedding was amazing, but nothing compared to when we received them all. Nothing was ever too much effort for James! That’s before I even mention his work, we just received some preview shots and he even sent them from his well deserved holiday. He made us feel so at ease and I can really tell he cares about not only his work but your big day! I really felt like he wanted to capture it perfectly for us as well as himself, he takes so much pride in his work! I am from a work of the arts so I appreciate a craftsman at work and I would recommend him everyday of the week and twice on Sundays! Price wise… he was so reasonable from what some of the quotes we received but now after what we see you get from him on the day and after he is so cheap, what unbelievable value for money. So glad we chose him for our special day!

Hey James, just wanted to try and express how overwhelmed, in love and grateful we are with our wedding photos. It’s really strange, when you look for your wedding photographer you found someone that comes highly recommended (which you did) and you like the style of photos but when you receive your own wedding photos, it’s a totally different experience. The more I look at them, the more I relive and feel totally immersed in the day again 
You captured everything, all the bits we didn’t see, the things we’d forgotten, all the moments of utter happiness and joy, of us but also of our guests. Having photos like that, of of our favourite people, is something we’ll treasure forever and it’s so special. They’re incredibly beautiful and natural and I just really can’t express that enough. The photos are just absolutely incredible, we have laughed, cried, smiled, reminisced and beamed from ear to ear as we have sat scrolling through them for the past 2 hours! I’ve followed James for a few years now and I’ve always loved his style of photography. It was so important to us to have a photographer who captured our day the way we envisaged so it wasn’t a question that it would be James to take on the task, and wow he really did not disappoint. We chose James from looking at his previous work online and were already impressed by the quality of the photos, but WOW when we first saw ours we were blown away!
Prior to our wedding James took the time to review our requirements and asked how we wanted photos to be taken and what we wanted to capture. It was really encouraging that we had a photographer that was more interested in taking the photos we wanted captured, in the style we requested rather than only following their approach. On the day, James was a true professional capturing beautiful and timeless memories of our entire day. He didn’t force us to take photos we didn’t want, and never got in the way of any of the proceedings, it was a true pleasure to deal with him.
Now, the photos themselves…. WOW. James exceeded even our wildest expectations with the final photo album. Each photo was presented and edited perfectly and really brought us right back to that special day. A trust testament to James’s work is that with each photo you can really feel the emotion which is something we’ve really not experienced before. James went above and beyond throughout the weekend and even encouraged us on the second day to visit a new location for photos, which turned out to be some of my favourite photos taken!
We are so happy with the final result, our biggest problem now is to pick our favourite photos, which is hard when you love all of them! Thank you James, and for anyone else reading this review, take our advice and choose him now!

What can I say!
Thank you’ doesn’t seem to cut it because we are so overwhelmed with the previews we have seen so far and you made the whole experience feel so effortless and fun! You started the day as our photographer and ended the day as one of the wedding party.
We are so grateful for the moments you captured, and for how you managed to make us feel so at ease and natural in front of the camera. I barely even knew I was being photographed half the time (which is a good thing!!). Not only did you put as at ease on the day, you made us feel comfortable from our first zoom call and that’s how we knew you were the right photographer for us. I think it’s so important to surround yourself with people who you laugh with on a day like your wedding day, and that’s exactly what we all ended up doing.

Where do I even start?
James couldn’t have been better and exceeded our expectations! His overall calm demeanour paired with knowing exactly how and when to give clear ideas and instructions is what everyone needs on their wedding day. I didn’t think it would possible to capture the level of joy, love and sheer fun we had but James did it.

James is absolutely fantastic.
When my wife and I first spoke to James, he wanted to know all about us, what we wanted from our wedding, how we envisioned our photos being and offered lots of tips and help on how to make our day special. We found that some photographers wanted to talk about their photos and what they could do for us, but James’ approach made it feel much more personal! Plus, the examples on his website do the talking so that he can focus on what his clients want.
The decision to go with James was an easy one as he made us feel listened to and his website was full of beautiful photos (especially the pictures taken at sunset and the black and white ones). We then decided to ask James to capture our engagement party, which was brilliant as it meant that when it came to the wedding we weren’t nervous or worried as we’d met James in person and knew how he worked. On our wedding day, James was once again fantastic, capturing some fantastic moments. He was a calming presence, never getting in the way yet being everywhere he needed to be to photograph all the special moments. Going by the preview gallery he sent a few days after the big day, our full gallery and album is going to be outstanding.
A brilliant photographer is worth their weight in gold, and James is certainly that! If we ever need another moment or event capturing, I will be contacting James to photograph it!!
